Live Oak Lions (Live Oak, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Chester Volcanoes (Chester, CA), 14-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Durham for a Sacramento Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 4. Live Oak will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Willows (Willows, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-5.
