Mississippi High School Softball - New Hope bounces Clinton

The New Hope Trojans routed the visiting Clinton Arrows softball squad by a count of 9-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Trojans (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Puckett (Puckett, MS). The Wolves go into the non-league battle with a 17-1 record. In their last battle, Puckett topped Florence (Florence, MS), 12-6, in a non-league battle.

The Arrows now sport a 9-14 record. They play next when they host Madison Central for a 6A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, April 4. Clinton will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 14-13 league loss to Germantown (Madison, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-4.
