The Kennedy Cougars softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Edison Vikings to 2 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Kennedy moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Cougars host Natomas (Sacramento, CA) to play the Nighthawks in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 11. The Nighthawks come into the game with a record of 3-1.
In their next game, the Vikings play the McNair Eagles (Stockton, CA) in a San Joaquin Athletic Association game, on Wednesday, April 5. Edison will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
