Kennett Indians (Kennett, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Forsyth Panthers (Forsyth, MO), 9-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dyersburg for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 19.

With the loss, Forsyth falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Hollister (Hollister, MO) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 3. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 0-6. Hollister lost 13-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Clever (Clever, MO)
