The Huntington Huntsmen softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Western Indians to 7 in the Huntsmen non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Huntington moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Huntsmen travel to Unioto (Chillicothe, OH) to clash with the Shermans in a Scioto Valley game on Monday, April 3. The Shermans come into the game with a record of 5-1. Unioto won 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Logan Elm (Circleville, OH)

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Eastern Eagles (Beaver, OH) in a Southern Ohio I game, on Tuesday, April 4. Western will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 18-1 league loss to Portsmouth West (West Portsmouth, OH).
