In Saturday's non-league contest, the Poway Titans (Poway, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host JSerra Catholic Lions (San Juan Capistrano, CA), by a margin of 7-0.

With the triumph, Poway moves its record to 12-2 on the year. The Titans travel to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA) to play the Lancers in a Palomar North County contest on Wednesday, April 5. The Lancers come into the contest with a record of 7-2.

In their next game, the Lions play the Santa Margarita Eagles (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) in a Trinity contest, on Monday, April 3. JSerra Catholic will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 11-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Rosary Academy (Fullerton, CA).
