The Simon Kenton Pioneers softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Lakota East Thunderhawks to 4 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Simon Kenton moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Pioneers host Cooper (Union, KY) to play the Jaguars in a non-league game on Saturday, April 1. The Jaguars come into the game with a record of 2-1.

In their next game, the Thunderhawks play the Middletown Middies (Middletown, OH) in a Greater Miami game, on Monday, April 3. Lakota East will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Middies come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Bishop Fenwick (Franklin, OH).
