Madison Cubs (Madison, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host South Spencer Rebels (Rockport, IN), 14-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Cubs now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tell City for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 1. Madison will battle a Marksmen squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Hancock County (Lewisport, KY). The Marksmen record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, South Spencer falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Evansville Mater Dei (Evansville, IN) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Evansville Mater Dei lost 6-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN)
