Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Plant Panthers (Tampa, FL) and the visiting Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL), witnessed Plant's softball squad tip Nature Coast Tech by a count of 7-4.

The Panthers now sport a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sickles for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 4. Plant will meet a Gryphons squad coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to East Lake (Tarpon Springs, FL). The Gryphons record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Nature Coast Tech moves to 6-9 on the season. The Sharks travel to River Ridge (New Port Richey, FL) to meet the Royal Knights in a non-league match on Saturday, April 1. The Royal Knights go into the match with a record of 9-6. River Ridge lost 5-1 in their recent non-league match against Sickles (Tampa, FL)
