Pearl River Central Blue Devils (Carriere, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pascagoula Panthers (Pascagoula, MS), 9-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host George County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4. Pearl River Central will battle a Rebels squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 17-2.

With the loss, Pascagoula falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to St. Martin (Ocean Springs, MS) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a record of 9-8.
