In Monday's league game, the host Fairbanks Panthers baseball team scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Mechanicsburg Indians.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Cedarville (Cedarville, OH). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Cedarville tipped Covington (Covington, OH), 9-2, in a non-league game.
The Indians (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Northeastern (Springfield, OH). The Jets go into the Ohio Heritage North game with a 1-2 record.
