In Monday's non-league game, the host Woodlawn Bears baseball team scored a tight 5-3 victory over the Smackover Buckaroos.
The Bears (14-1) will now prepare for their game against Junction City (Junction City, AR). The Dragons go into the 2A Region 8 game with a 4-12 record. In their last game, Junction City by Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR), 7-2, in a league game.
The Buckaroos (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Hampton (Hampton, AR). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, Hampton by Bradley (Bradley, AR), 15-14, in a league game.
