The Freehold Township Patriots lacrosse team scored 15 points and limited the visiting Liberty Lions to 3 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.

The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ). The Braves enter the Shore - Freedom game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Manalapan toppled St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ), 11-4, in a non-league game.

The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ). The Green Wave enter the Shore - Independence game with a 0-0 record.
