Dryden Lions (Dryden, NY) followers exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Cortland Purple Tigers (Cortland, NY), 13-3 in a non-league battle.
The Lions now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitney Point for a Section 4 STAC - East battle on Friday, April 5. Dryden will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 19-11 non-league win over Watkins Glen (Watkins Glen, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Purple Tigers clash with the Central Square Redhawks (Central Square, NY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 20. Cortland will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Redhawks come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Binghamton (Binghamton, NY).
