The White County Central Bears softball team scored 23 runs and limited the host Augusta Red Devils to 11 in the Bears non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, White County Central moves its record to 3-11 on the year. The Bears travel to Izard County (Brockwell, AR) to play the Cougars in a 2A Region 2 game on Tuesday, April 2. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 4-5. Izard County lost 10-2 in their recent league game against Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR)

In their next game, the Red Devils play the Bradford Eagles (Bradford, AR) in a 1A Region 5 game, on Tuesday, April 2. Augusta will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 13-7 non-league win over Pangburn (Pangburn, AR).
