The Bigelow Panthers (Bigelow, AR) softball routed the visiting Mountain Pine Red Devils (Mountain Pine, AR), 23-2 in Monday's league bout.
The Panthers (8-6) will now prepare for their bout against South Side (Bee Branch, AR). The Hornet go into the non-league bout with a 13-4 record. In their last bout, South Side toppled St. Joseph (Conway, AR), 15-3, in a league bout.
The Red Devils now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Magnet Cove for a 2A Region 5 challenge on Friday, April 5. Mountain Pine will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Conway Christian (Conway, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 12-3.
