The Poyen Indians softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs to 7 in the Indians league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Poyen improves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Indians host Bigelow (Bigelow, AR) to clash with the Panthers in a 2A Region 5 game on Friday, April 5. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 9-6. Bigelow won 7-6 in their recent non-league game against South Side (Bee Branch, AR)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Perryville Mustangs (Perryville, AR) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 4. Central Arkansas Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 6-4 record after their 7-4 league loss to Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR).
