The Doyline Panthers softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Plain Dealing Lions to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Doyline improves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Panthers travel to Byrd (Shreveport, LA) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 2. The Yellow Jackets come into the game with a record of 3-19. Byrd lost 13-0 in their recent non-league game against Choudrant (Choudrant, LA)

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Mansfield Wolverines (Mansfield, LA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 3. Plain Dealing will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Wolverines come into the game with a 5-14 record after their 17-0 non-league loss to Ebarb (Noble, LA).
