The Elmore County Panthers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Marbury Bulldogs to 9 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Elmore County improves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Panthers host Tallassee (Tallassee, AL) to clash with the Tigers in a 5A Area 5 game on Tuesday, April 2. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 5-14. Tallassee lost 8-3 in their recent league game against Beauregard (Opelika, AL)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Holtville Bulldogs (Deatsville, AL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 2. Marbury will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 15-5 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Northside (Northport, AL).
