Hasbrouck Heights Aviators (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Saddle Brook Falcons (Saddle Brook, NJ), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.

Game Summary
Hasbrouck Heights down 5-4 heading into the top of 7th scored (3) runs to make 7-5. But had to stop Saddle Brook in the bottom of 7th, who had runners on 1st and 3rd with no outs. Frosh Maddy Connelly struck out the next 2 batters and got the last out to earned her first Varsity win 7-5. Heights Mackenzie Riordan went 3 for 3 and a BB which included a solo Home Run to put Heights up 4-3 in the top of the 5th right after Saddle Brook tied the game. Riordan then hit a double in the top of the 7th inning to make it runners on 2nd and 3rd with Heights down 5-4. Kailen Peterson then tied it up @ 5 with a hit. Anna Lisse Vasquez put Heights up 6-5 with a Sac fly to right and Caylie Daniels drove in a run with a base hit up the middle to make it 7-5.
