North Carolina High School Softball - Holmes topped by Pamlico County

April 1, 2024: Edenton, NC 27932

In Monday's non-league contest, the Pamlico County Hurricanes (Bayboro, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), by a margin of 14-2.

With the triumph, Pamlico County moves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Hurricanes host Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC) to play the Devil Pups in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A contest on Tuesday, April 9. The Devil Pups come into the contest with a record of 4-5.

In their next game, the Aces play the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A contest, on Tuesday, April 9. Holmes will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record.
