Madison County Tigers (Gurley, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pisgah Eagles (Pisgah, AL), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 19-4 record. They take the field next when they host New Hope for a 4A Area 14 challenge on Thursday, April 4. Madison County will battle a Indians squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Guntersville (Guntersville, AL). The Indians record now stands at 11-15.

With the loss, Pisgah falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL) to battle the Bison in a 2A Area 15 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Bison enter the challenge with a record of 7-6. North Sand Mountain won 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Fyffe (Fyffe, AL)
