Oberlin Tigers (Oberlin, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Negreet Indians (Negreet, LA), 17-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 5-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Beauregard for a 1A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Oberlin will face a Trojans squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Evans (Evans, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, Negreet falls to 3-17 on the campaign. The Indians host Hicks (Leesville, LA) to face the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 1. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 9-7.
