Sealy Tigers (Sealy, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Sacred Heart Indians (Hallettsville, TX), 17-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 18-9 record. They take the field next when they host Bellville for a 4A Region IV District 25 challenge on Saturday, April 6. Sealy will battle a Brahmas squad coming off a 14-5 league loss to El Campo (El Campo, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 11-13.

With the loss, Sacred Heart falls to 15-7 on the campaign. The Indians host SA Saints (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Saints in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 21-2. SA Saints won 9-8 in their recent league challenge against Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX)
