The Central Christian Comets baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Aquinas Knights to 6 in the Comets non-league win on Tuesday.
The Comets now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Smithville for a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. Central Christian will clash with a Smithies team coming off a 4-0 league win over Dalton (Dalton, OH). The Smithies record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Aquinas drops to 0-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Cleveland Central Catholic (Cleveland, OH) to clash with the Ironmen in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 2. The Ironmen go into the test with a record of 0-0.
