The Big Sandy Wildcats baseball team scored 20 runs and held the visiting Leggett Pirates to 0 in the Wildcats league win on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hull-Daisetta for a 2A Region IV District 25 test on Friday, April 4. Big Sandy will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Evadale (Evadale, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-8.
With the defeat, Leggett drops to 0-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to Danbury (Danbury, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a 2A Region IV District 25 test on Friday, April 11. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 14-6.
