The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), saw Brother Rice's baseball team get by Lincoln-Way Central by a tally of 8-7.
The Crusaders (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Trinity (Louisville, KY). The Shamrocks enter the non-league battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Trinity held off Hilliard Davidson (Hilliard, OH), 11-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Knights face the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 2. Lincoln-Way Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 5-0 record after their 8-5 non-league win over Batavia (Batavia, IL).
