The Northview Academy Cougars (Kodak, TN) baseball the visiting Cocke County Fighting Cocks (Newport, TN), 4-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 2-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grainger for a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. Northview Academy will play a Grizzlies team coming off a 6-3 league win over Volunteer (Church Hill, TN). The Grizzlies record now stands at 5-10.
With the defeat, Cocke County drops to 2-9 on the year. The Fighting cocks host Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN) to play the Black Knights in a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. The Black Knights go into the test with a record of 10-6. Chuckey-Doak won 12-4 in their recent league test against Hampton (Hampton, TN)
