The Fairlawn Jets baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks to 6 in the Jets non-league win on Tuesday.
The Jets now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Houston for a Shelby County test on Thursday, April 3. Fairlawn will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Bradford (Bradford, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Mississinawa Valley drops to 2-3 on the year. The Blackhawks host Tri-Village (New Madison, OH) to clash with the Patriots in a Western Ohio Athletic test on Thursday, April 3. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 1-0. Tri-Village won 9-1 in their recent non-league test against Covington (Covington, OH)
