The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Fostoria Redmen to 0 in the Chieftains non-league win on Tuesday.

The Chieftains now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gibsonburg for a Sandusky Bay - River test on Wednesday, April 2. Hopewell-Loudon will clash with a Golden Bears team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Calvert (Tiffin, OH). The Golden Bears record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Fostoria drops to 0-4 on the year. The Redmen travel to Perkins (Sandusky, OH) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 1-1.
