In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Ottawa Pirates baseball team scored a close 9-5 win over the Hall Red Devils.

The Pirates (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Streator (Streator, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Streator was overwhelmed by Herscher (Herscher, IL), 1-0, in a league game.

Next, the Red Devils play the Orion Chargers (Orion, IL) in a Three Rivers game, on Friday, April 4. Hall will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Chargers go into the game with a 5-3 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL).
