The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the St. Francis de Sales Knights (Toledo, OH) and the host Hanahan Hawks (Hanahan, SC), saw St. Francis de Sales's baseball team get by Hanahan by a tally of 9-8.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC). The Iron Horses enter the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Philip Simmons held off Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC), 11-3, in a league battle.
Next, the Hawks face the Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes (Summerville, SC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 3. Hanahan will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Swamp Foxes enter the battle with a 3-5 record after their 10-0 league win over Stall (Charleston, SC).
