The Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) baseball trounced the host Jamestown Eagles (Williamsburg, VA), 11-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Deep Creek for a Southeastern challenge on Thursday, April 3. Nansemond River will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Atlantic Shores Christian (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-5.
With the defeat, Jamestown drops to 1-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Warhill (Williamsburg, VA) to clash with the Lions in a Bay Rivers challenge on Wednesday, April 2. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Warhill lost 12-9 in their recent league challenge against Smithfield (Smithfield, VA)
