The Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY) baseball the visiting Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 7-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Golden Eagles now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Butler for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 3. Johnson Central will clash with a Aviators team coming off a 22-1 non-league win over Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY). The Aviators record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, Monticello drops to 1-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Rowan County (Morehead, KY) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 2. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Rowan County lost 13-6 in their recent non-league challenge against South Laurel (London, KY)
