The Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC) baseball trounced the host Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC), 8-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 16-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Concord Academy for a NICSAA Metrolina challenge on Thursday, April 3. Metrolina Christian Academy will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.

With the defeat, Marvin Ridge drops to 9-5 on the year. The Mavericks host Providence (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 3. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 12-1. Providence won 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC)
