The Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH) baseball trounced the host Mt. Gilead Indians (Mt. Gilead, OH), 10-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Golden Gophers now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Kenton for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 2. Ridgemont will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Allen East (Harrod, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Mt. Gilead drops to 1-1 on the year. The Indians host Danville (Danville, OH) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Knox Morrow Athletic challenge on Wednesday, April 2. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Danville lost 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Newark Catholic (Newark, OH)
