The Sanger Indians baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Ponder Lions to 1 in the Indians non-league win on Tuesday.

The Indians now own a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they host Braswell for a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. Sanger will clash with a Bengals team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX). The Bengals record now stands at 4-15.

With the defeat, Ponder drops to 4-12 on the year. The Lions host Bowie (Bowie, TX) to clash with the Jackrabbits in a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. The Jackrabbits go into the test with a record of 8-11. Bowie lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Henrietta (Henrietta, TX)
