In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Romeoville Spartans baseball team scored a close 6-2 win over the Stagg Chargers.
The Spartans (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Thunderbolts go into the non-league game with a 9-0 record. In their last game, Andrew nudged Richards (Oak Lawn, IL), 5-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Chargers play the St. Rita Mustangs (Chicago, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 4. Stagg will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 1-4 record after their 10-7 non-league loss to McCallie (Chattanooga, TN).
