The Schaumburg Saxons baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Saint Viator Lions to 2 in the Saxons non-league win on Tuesday.
The Saxons now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Maine West for a non-league test on Friday, April 4. Schaumburg will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 3-5.
With the defeat, Saint Viator drops to 0-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL) to clash with the Gators in a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. The Gators go into the test with a record of 4-2. Crystal Lake South won 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Woodstock (Woodstock, IL)
