In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Ellis lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-4 triumph over the Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions.

The (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA). The Panthers go into the WPIAL 2A 1 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Franklin Regional was overwhelmed by Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA), 10-8, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Centurions clash with the Indiana Little Indians (Indiana, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 2 challenge, on Thursday, April 3. Greensburg Central Catholic will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Little Indians go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 5-3 league loss to Hampton (Allison Park, PA).
