The Wesleyan Wolves soccer squad scored 7 points and held the host Mount Vernon Mustangs to 0 in the Wolves league victory on Tuesday.
The Wolves now possess a 11-1 record. They play next when they host Mount Pisgah Christian for a 1A D-I Region 5 bout on Friday, April 4. Wesleyan will play a Patriots squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Fellowship Christian (Roswell, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Mount Vernon moves to 4-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Mt. Bethel Christian Academy (Marietta, GA) to play the Eagles in a 1A D-I Region 5 bout on Thursday, April 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Mt. Bethel Christian Academy lost 12-2 in their recent non-league bout against Johnson Ferry Christian Academy (Marietta, GA)
