The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Lakewood Lancers (Hebron, OH) and the host Bexley Lions (Columbus, OH), saw Lakewood's baseball team gain a win over Bexley by a tally of 12-3.

The Lancers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Philo (Duncan Falls, OH). The Electrics enter the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Philo was overwhelmed by West Muskingum (Zanesville, OH), 11-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Lions face the Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 3. Bexley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Comets enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Reynoldsburg (Reynoldsburg, OH).
