The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) and the visiting South Shore Homeschool Athletics Eagles (Portage, IN), saw Wheeler's baseball team gain a win over South Shore Homeschool Athletics by a tally of 15-5.

The Bearcats (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Andrean (Merrillville, IN). The Fighting 59ers enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Andrean was overwhelmed by Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL), 5-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Eagles face the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies (Kouts, IN) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 14. South Shore Homeschool Athletics will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
