The Standing Bear Grizzlies baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting York Dukes to 0 in the Grizzlies non-league win on Tuesday.
The Grizzlies now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln Northwest for a test on Tuesday, April 8. Standing Bear will play a Falcons team coming off a 13-0 league win over Aurora (Aurora, NE). The Falcons record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, York drops to 2-3 on the year. The Dukes host Adams Central (Hastings, NE) to play the Patriots in a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 2-0. Adams Central won 12-1 in their recent non-league test against St. Paul/Palmer (St. Paul, NE)
