In Tuesday's league contest, the host Fernandina Beach Pirates lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 triumph over the Paxon School For Advanced Studies Golden Eagles.

The Pirates (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Stanton (Jacksonville, FL). The Blue Devils go into the 1A D2 contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Stanton was nipped by Eastside (Gainesville, FL), 6-5, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Providence School Stallions (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 3. Paxon School For Advanced Studies will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Stallions go into the contest with a 9-6 record after their 11-8 non-league loss to Beachside (St. Johns, FL).
