In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Jackson County Panthers lacrosse squad scored a good 14-1 triumph over the Gainesville Red Elephants.

The Panthers (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Duluth (Duluth, GA). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Duluth was overwhelmed by Brookwood (Snellville, GA), 14-6, in a league contest.

Next, the Red Elephants meet the Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) in a 2A Area 8 contest, on Tuesday, April 15. Gainesville will attempt to better on its 0-13 season record. The Longhorns go into the contest with a 9-7 record after their 16-12 league win over Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA).
