Fans at Tuesday's non-league test between the North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI) and the host Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI), witnessed North Smithfield's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Ponaganset by a count of 9-3.

The Northmen (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Huskies enter the Division 3 test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Mt. Hope was overwhelmed by Westerly (Westerly, RI), 15-7, in a non-league test.

Next, the Chieftains battle the East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI) in a Division 4 test, on Thursday, April 3. Ponaganset will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Townies enter the test with a 1-1 record after their 10-6 league win over North Providence (North Providence, RI).
