In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Stoney Creek Cougars lacrosse squad scored a tight 4-3 triumph over the Oxford Wildcats.
The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rochester (Rochester Hills, MI). The Falcons go into the Division 1 District 4 challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the Howell Highlanders (Howell, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 4. Oxford will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
