In Tuesday's non-league test, the Plant Panthers (Tampa, FL) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host Wharton Wildcats (Tampa, FL), by a count of 19-7.
Next up, the Panthers battle the Sickles Gryphons (Tampa, FL) in a 2A D11 test, on Thursday, April 3. Plant will attempt to move on its 14-1 season record. The Gryphons enter the test with a 12-3 record after their 18-3 non-league loss to Newsome (Lithia, FL).
The Wildcats (1-13) will now prepare for their test against Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Steinbrenner was overwhelmed by Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL), 17-1, in a non-league test.
