Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) and the host Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC), witnessed Western Guilford's lacrosse squad top Western Alamance by a score of 15-5.

The Hornets (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings enter the Metro contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Northwest Guilford was overwhelmed by Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 12-4, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Warriors meet the Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) in a Central/Mid-Carolina contest, on Friday, April 4. Western Alamance will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 11-2 record after their 15-1 league win over Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC).
